Napa Wedding Photographer – Roxanne & Victor’s Wedding

Roxanne & Victor were married at Churchill Manor in Napa Valley and this was a destination wedding for them.  Here are a few of my favorite moments of their day including Roxanne reading a letter from Victor before the ceremony and their first dance as husband and wife.  Their table for two at the reception was adorned with Mr. / Mrs. lettering.

Napa Wedding Photographer – Teresa & Steve’s Elopement at White House Inn

Photos of Teresa & Steve’s intimate elopement at White House Inn, a Bed and Breakfast, located in Napa Valley.  The color “red” was seen in the details of this elopement; from Teresa’s red high heels, red and white bouquet to Steve’s red boutonniere.  Teresa even had a red heart painted on her ring finger on her left hand, which I thought was a nice touch!.  It makes it really easy for the groom also when it comes time for exchanging rings!

Napa Portrait Photographer – Oscar and Caitlin’s Family Portraits

It was exactly eight years to the day that we photographed Oscar and Caitlin’s wedding when these most recent family portraits were taken and hard to believe those years had passed so quickly!  Four years ago we had a photo session with their first son, (you can see those photos here) and this time their family photos included their second son.  Caitlin surprised Oscar with the photo session as an anniversary present.  Although, he did admit to being “a little suspicious” when Caitlin requested he wear a specific green shirt.  I surprised the both of them by putting one of their wedding day images on my cell phone and capturing their expressions when I asked them to turn the phone over and look at the image.  Here are a few of my favorites of this happy family.  : )

Napa Pet Photographer – Whiskers Tails & Ferals Gallery Show

When asked to participate in the adoption event for Whiskers, Tails & Ferals, this Napa Pet Photographer did not have to think twice! Are you kidding me? Photography and Pets! I was on board!  It was a pleasure to have a part in helping to find these wonderful animals their “forever homes”.  The Gallery Show can be see in Yountville at the Yountville Community Center and will be on display until September 30, 2013.  Below are just a few of my favorites; please stop by and take a look…maybe you will see someone that would be a perfect addition to your family.  As they say, “you can’t change the whole world for every animal but you can change the whole world for that one animal.”  Think adoption.

While working on this project, my cat was pacing and making her presence known with LOUD kitty noises.  I noticed she was going out of her way to look up at the computer where I was sitting, so I got up from my chair to see what all the fuss was about.  She made her way over to my chair and jumped up next to the computer screen, coming face-to-face with “Black Kitty” on the screen.  I think she thought that was a REAL cat and wanted to get up close and personal.  What do you think?

Napa Photographer – Cat attends elopement at Churchill Manor

For years we have been photographing Churchill Manor’s resident cat, Eddie, in all of his adorableness. He is an outdoor kitty and likes it that way! I have never even seen him step one toe inside the Inn; he likes his freedom to roam the grounds or bask in a patch of sun and basically do whatever cats enjoy.  What a life he has!  All the food he wants and free room and board at the best Bed and Breakfast in Napa Valley.  He is a celebrity of sorts but seems unimpressed that everyone knows him.  On this particular day, he respectfully strolled out during a marriage ceremony to quietly quench his thirst at the fountain, which I have never seen him do before. Thank you, Eddie, for being you and amusing me!
